J. Michael Nicks is a 1991 Graduate of The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science – Law and Criminal Justice. Michael earned his law degree at Capital University Law School in the evening program while working full time as deputy clerk in the Licking County Probate Court and during his last two years of law school as a Probate paralegal for a sole practitioner.
Michael has extensive experience as a child advocate working in the Juvenile Court system with abused, neglected and dependent children as a Guardian ad litem as well as representing juveniles charged with delinquency offenses. His practices areas include representing Injured Workers, Juvenile and Probate Law, Estate Planning, Personal Injury as well as Commercial and Consumer Collections.
